We are often asked how our team of midwives works at San Diego Midwife.
To be able to best serve you and to have a sustainable lifestyle from being on call 24/7, we work as a team of midwives at San Diego Midwife. You will get to know your midwives very well at each appointment but we do not assign midwives per birth or individual. You are always guaranteed one midwife and one birth assistant at your birth although we love to attend births all together as a whole team as often as we can!
Eva Flynn
STUDENT MIDWIFE
Eva Flynn is a passionate student midwife currently pursuing her studies at the National College of Midwifery. As a midwife and doula, she is dedicated to supporting families on their journey through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Her approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and a genuine commitment to nurturing both the body and spirit of expectant families. With a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Eva brings a holistic perspective to her midwifery and doula work. Her background in nutrition enhances her understanding of how diet and wellness impact pregnancy and childbirth.
Eva is excited about the opportunity to meet and work with families during such a transformative time in their lives. When she’s not studying or supporting families, Eva enjoys exploring all of San Diego’s beaches, hiking, and cooking.
